Haitian Women Crossbody bag

A celebration of Haitian women, culture, and beauty.

This crossbody bag features my original painting, Haitian Women, Many Shades. The painting brings together four Haitian women dressed in different shades of blue, each with her own style, skin tone, and presence.

I created this piece as a celebration of the beauty and diversity of Haitian women. Although they share a culture and heritage, there is no single way to look like a Haitian woman. We come in many shades, and that diversity is part of our beauty.

The traditional-inspired dresses and headwraps connect the women to Haitian culture, while the different shades of blue bring them together as one.

Now, Haitian Women, Many Shades has been transformed from an original painting into wearable art—a piece of Haitian culture you can carry with you.
